Leadership grounded in service. Results rooted in community.

I’m a Navy veteran, a public servant, a resident of Arlington, and a father and grandfather who believes leadership should be measured by results, not rhetoric.

I moved to Jacksonville in 1994 while serving in the Navy — and I never left. This community became my home. I raised my family here, and I care deeply about the everyday struggles and everyday strengths of the people who make up District 1.

I wasn’t born into politics. I was born into service.

Growing up, my grandfather taught me that leadership means putting people before self — that you take care of your own and show up when it matters. Those lessons followed me into the United States Navy, where I learned firsthand what strong leadership looks like in action:

  • Taking orders while thinking for yourself

  • Making decisions under pressure

  • Standing with your team through every challenge

After my service, I continued working in roles where I could help people — inside local government, and with organizations like Feeding Northeast Florida and United Way — because real leadership is about getting things done for the people who depend on it.

WHY I’M RUNNING

I’m running for Duval City Council, District 1 because District 1 deserves leadership that shows up and delivers results.

Like many residents, I’ve seen the challenges our neighborhoods face — flooding streets, aging infrastructure, public safety concerns, and growth that doesn’t always feel balanced or planned with residents in mind.

These are not abstract issues. They affect everyday life.

I believe local government should focus on the basics, operate with transparency, and be accountable to the people it serves.

Leadership should be steady, honest, and grounded in results.

Residents deserve leaders who listen, communicate clearly, and work consistently to improve the systems that shape daily life.
